Vintage Limoges Porcelain Dinner Plates With Fragonard Lovers Scenes, Set of 12

  

Set of twelve beautiful French Limoges large dinner plates featuring a Victorian scene showing Fragonard's courting lovers, thick emerald green borders and decorated with 24K gold trims around the scalloped edges. There are four different lovers scenes featured on the plates. It is so rare to find such old Limoges plates in complete sets of twelve and particularly in such great condition.

Made in Limoges, France, early to mid-20th century. Great condition, no chips or cracks, minimal wear to design as to be expected with age.
