Rare T&V Limoges Souvenir Hand Painted Floral Ice Cream Tray with 11 Plates. Pale Green, Pink, Gold & Copper Richly Decorated Rococo Border Rim. What an amazing set this is! This set is fully hand painted in 7 different floral designs! The plates feature blue carnations(2 plates), blue forget me nots(2 plates), violets (on the ice cream tray and one plate) purple mums (one plate), yellow evening primrose (2 plates), a delicate pink flower(one plate) and 2 chrysanthemum type florals one in pink and one in yellow. A total of 11 ice cream dessert plates measuring 8 inches diameter. The large ice cream tray measures 16 inches in length. Height is 2 1/4 inch. Width is 11 3/4 inch wide.

The tray is painted with violets on the underside outside rims so as it sits on the table you can see the violets from top and sides! Absolutely gorgeous and amazing set. I have not come across one like it. The gold gilt detail is stunning accenting the ornate fluted pattern to the mold. Condition for the set is quite amazing!

I don't think this set was used as it retains almost all of the gold and enamels and appears to have little to no use marks. I have looked over it carefully and find 2 plates with small issues. The violet 8 inch plate has tiny hairline (1/8 inch) on underside rim but could possibly be just a scratch. It also has a small nick to the foot rim. One of the yellow evening primrose plates has 2 nicks..

One on rim at one of the green scallops. It is small but on top.

Also another flake on underside near the first one I mention. The damage is not easily noticed and the plate displays well.
