T&V Limoges Hand Painted Signed Lily Gold Encrusted Botanical 9 1/2 Inch Plate Nice antique porcelain plate. Nicely decorated with hand painted white and purple lily flowers.

With gold gilt and encrusted border. Signed by the artist & appears to read Mage or Magy. Also marked on the back with the scientific Latin name of the flower. Marked on the reverse in green T & V Limoges France. This is a whiteware mark used by Tressemann and Vogt in Limoges France between 1892 and 1907. Also marked in pink Ovington Bro's New York. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
