Each plate is marked on the reverse J. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Jean Pouyat in Limoges France between 1890 and 1930.
Also marked Wm Guerin & Co Limoges France in blue underneath. This is an overglaze decorator's mark was used by William Guerin in Limoges France between 1900 and 1932. Five of these have minor wear to the gilding and one will have more wear to the gilding in each set of 6, but are otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Each plate measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide.
