RARE Set Of 10 French 1853 LIMOGES M REDON Plates Hand Painted CherubsAngels. Rare, gorgeous set of porcelain cabinet plates from 1853. Plates feature various angel images. There are five distinct angel images.

A couple of the images are repeated on three different plates. One image is repeated twice and two images only appear on a single plate. That said even in the repeated patterns there are variations as they are all hand painted. Some are even signed by the artist: E Purlaud faintly to the lower left of the angel.

Plates measure 9 inches in diameter and are in very good condition, one has a chip on the edge of the underside.
