Nicely decorated with large hand painted red poppy flowers over a green, yellow, and red background. With gold gilding along the edge. This is a whiteware mark used by P. Mavaleix in Limoges France between 1908 and 1914. Has some wear to the gilding along the edge, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 12 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
