Limoges Hand Painted Signed Gustave Wine Jug Grapes & Gold 12 3/4 Inch Charger Nice French porcelain charger. Decorated with a hand painted wine jug / wine decanter and purple and yellow grapes over a blue, purple, brown, peach, and yellow background. With gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist Gustave. Marked in green Limoges France with a crescent moon. Also marked on the reverse in green L. Limoges France with a circle.

This is an overglaze decorator's mark used by Lazarus Straus & Sons between 1890 and the 1920s. Has some wear to the gilding and a gilded over chip to the edge.
