Limoges Hand Painted Signed F Furland Marie Antoinette Portrait 13 3/8 Inch Charger. Very pretty large porcelain charger. Decorated with a hand painted portrait of Marie Antoinette in a maroon dress and hat with large feathers over a green background. Gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist F.

Marked on the back in green Limoges France with a star in the center. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Legrand in Limoges France during the 1920s.

Also marked in red LS & S Limoges France. This is an overglaze decorator's mark used by Lazarus Straus & Sons in Limoges France between the 1890 and the 1920s. Has some wear to the gilding and some small scratches to the background, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 13 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
