Haviland Signed Dessert / Salad 9 Plates Factory Decorated Hand Painted Berton. This is a stunning set of 9 Dessert or Coupe Salad plates made by Haviland in Limoges France. They were hand painted at the factory and each of the plates is signed. Each measures 8 5/8 across and feature a floral design in the foreground with a sun on the water design in the background.

It looks like a bay or cove. There are 2 different designs.

There are 3 matching plates with roses in pinks and yellows. There are 6 matching plates with Roses and another flower like a cherry blossom in Pinks and whites. Each has gold trim at the rim followed by a bright red ring. All are signed, "Berton" on the plate. These are featured in the book.

Haviland China the Age of Elegance. By Nora Travis dated 1997 on page 54, figure 95. Set is in Excellent Condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. There is very little wear to any. Please view the photos for a better description.
