Hand Painted Gilt Encrusted Cabinet Plate Marbleized Brown Blue Rim Floral Imperial Limoges. Stunning hand painted Imperial Limoges Depose' 9 inch cabinet plate. Features a bold light blue band with outer rim of marbleized brown with blue specks. Center of plate is ivory background with a center spray of gilt gold encrusted florals and leaves. Deep wine mulberry teal and gold with green are the colors this talented artist used to decorate this lovely plate.
Condition is excellent with no damage. Gold is in very good condition.
9 inch diameter makes it a versatile size to hang, use on a chest or tabletop upright in a display or in a cabinet setting. Marked on the back with the Imperial Limoges Depose mark. I believe this dates the plate to late 19th century or early 20th century.
