Hand Painted Limoges Dessert / Salad Plate by Charles J. Ahrenfeldt c1890s 8 5/8

  

Ahrenfeldt Limoges porcelain plate, with etched gilt tims and band to face, with rouletted gilt scrolling stylized foliate motifs and stripes alternating with polychrome painted flower heads in shaped cartouches with raised gilt dots to shoulders. Gilt band to foot, underside, Green printed FRANCE CA, over arrows, DEPOSE, in gold C. Retailes mark for THE COWELL & HUBBARD CO. Approximate dimension 8 5/8 diameter. They look like new and do not appear to have been.
