George Borgfeldt Limoges Hand Painted Game Bird 10 Inch Plate Circa 1906 - 1920 Beautiful porcelain cabinet plate with a nicely hand painted brown and white game bird in the grass with an orange and yellow background. Has gold gilded along the edge. Signed by the artist and appears to read LHC. Marked on the back in green Limoges Coronet France with a crown. This is a decorating mark used by George Borgfeldt in Limoges France between 1906 and 1920. Has a little bit of wear to the gilding and the decoration, but no chips or cracks. This is a very attractively plate.

Measures approximately 10 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
