GDM Limoges Hand Painted Pink Blue Floral & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer C. Nice antique French porcelain branch handle tea cup and saucer.

Decorated with hand painted pink, purple and yellow-orange flowers with gold highlights. Gold gilding along the edge.

Marked on the reverse CFH GDM in green. This mark was used by Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Morel between 1882 and 1890. The saucer is also marked CF Field Haviland Limoges in a double blue circle.

This is a decorator's mark listed as used by Charles Field between 1859 and 1881. Gerard Dufraisseix & Morel used the Field mark in red, but these pieces indicate they must have continued to use the Field's blue mark for a few years after 1881 as well. Also written in scripted gold is Fabrique Pour M.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches wide.

The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
