GDM Limoges Hand Painted Cherubs in Clouds & Gold 12 Inch Charger Plate Pretty pretty porcelain charger with relief molded scrollwork edge. Decorated with three hand painted cherubs in the clouds with hearts, arrows, wreaths and flowers. With gold gilding and gold gilt highlights along the edge. Marked on the reverse CFH/GDM France in green. This mark was used by Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Morel in Limoges France between 1891 and 1900. Has some wear to the gilding, a small in manufacture firing separation to one of the handles, and a scratch through one of the cherub's faces, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 12 inches wide.
