GDA Limoges Hand Painted Large Pink Roses & Gold 8 1/2 Inch Luncheon Plate C1902 Very pretty porcelain luncheon plate. Decorated with hand painted large pink roses over a pink and white background. With gold gilt scrollwork leaf and net designs along the border. Has a relief molded rope design near the edge with gold gilt highlights.
Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse GDA France in green.
According to the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston, this mark was used by Gerard, Duffraisseix & Abbott in Limoges France between 1900 and 1941. Also has a signature / monogram on the back and the date 1902. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches wide.
