Creamer & Sugar Bowl with lid, Limoges France GDA Hand Painted Iris Artist Signed

  

This is for an extremely Rare Set! Covered Sugar Bowl w/ handles / lid & the matching Creamer. Measures: 5" wide by 6-1/2" long with handles, and with lid on its 4-1/2 tall. This has a lovely hand painted Iris floral motif all around, with lush gold accenting everywhere.

Even the flowers are lightly outlined in gold to give it extra shine and elegance. Very well painted, the artist signed both pieces on top near the handles but I cant read the name.

The mark on the bottom is "GDA France" which is an early Limoges France mark from around the late 1800's into the early 1900's. Some very minor loss of gold on the sugar lid handle from age but no chips or cracks. I did see a tiny speck of gold missing from the rim on the sugar bowl but the lid covers it and its tiny, looks like the gold flaked off from contact and extremely minor, a touch up of matched gold paint would cover it desired. This is for 2 reasons- I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get. All of my items are insured against damage in transit, I pay extra for this!
