Exquisite Delicate Decorative CFH Charles Field Haviland , Delicate CUP w/BUTTERFLY Handle & Deep SAUCER , Green HOPS & Spider Webs w/Green & Brown Leaves on White w/PINK Bands. DESCRIPTION: This features sprays of green hops with green and brown leaves situated in front of spider webs on the high white porcelain. The butterfly handle on the cup has gold veins on the back of the white wings. The inside of the wings is pink. The edges of the wings are trimmed in gold.

The pink paint highlights the wide bands and ties in the pink of the wings The inside of the smooth rimmed cup is smooth & clean. The deep saucer has a large spray with the hops, leaves and spider web. CONDITION: The condition of this decorative cup & saucer is excellent. We can find no defects and no damage. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, rubbings, scratches or hairlines.

Please refer to the photos to see how classically beautiful this is. DIMENSIONS: The cup has a diameter of 2 7/8" with a height of 2 1/4" to the top of the butterfly wings. The capacity of the cup is 5 ounces. The deep saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2" and a height of 15/16". HISTORY/MARKS: Charles Field Haviland was the nephew of David Haviland.

Charles Field in 1858 married Loiuse Alluaud, the granddaughter of the Alluaud porcelain family. In 1876 management of the firm was entrusted to Charles Field Haviland and the pottery's name was changed prior to his retirement in 1881.
