With heavy gold gilt scrollwork along the relief molded and reticulated / pierced border.Marked in green Limoges in a star over France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Coiffe in Limoges France between 1891 and 1914. Also marked on the reverse in red Elite Limoges France. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Bawo & Dotter in Limoges France between 1896 and 1900. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 10 3/8 inches long x 9 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
