Lovely vintage porcelain pierced handled cake plate made by ELITE SM Works, Limoges China. Art Nouveau design of LILIES & IVY LEAVES with gold details. Hand painted and artist signed. From my research, this piece dates from c 1915 to 1920.

Also note the heavy burnished gold edge (with an embossed raised design) and an overall beautiful patina. Artist signed Multier or Mulfier with the signature prominently featured in the top right centre.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration. The only wear of note is minor rubbing to the embossed surfaces of the burnished gold. Marked as shown in photo with two marks ELIT FRANCE in green, Elite Works crest Limoges France as well as HAND PAINTED in a bordered box. Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash. This lovely plate would make a great addition to your collection. I do try and describe my items accurately.
