ANTQ LIMOGES T&V (Tressemann&Vogt) FRANCE Hand Painted Roses Two-Handle Platter
HAND PAINTED ROSES TWO-HANDLE CABINET PLATTER. 6 (unfortunately, we didn't recognize this signature). Particularly this mark was used by Tressemanes & Vogt of Limoges, France, from 1891 to 1907. Gustave Vogt and Emilien Tressemanes started the company in 1883. It was bought by Reynaud in 1919.
Measurement approximately: 10-3/4" from handle to handle, 10" across, without handles and 1 3.8 high. Underglaze FACTORY Backstamp in green: "T&V LIMOGES FRANCE". Condition report : No chips, No cracks, No repairs, some expected not major appropriate wear to the gilding at the handles and gold trim.
