This is a beautiful set of historic dinnerware that has survived the trip from France to the United States. Marshall Field was the creme de la creme in the early part of the 20th century carrying only the best of the best for their discerning clients nationwide.

The set is in excellent condition given its age and honest wear. The set consists of 48 pieces. There are (8) 9.5" dinner plates, (8) 8.5" salad plates, (8) 6.25" bread plates, (8) 3.5" cups, (8) 5.5" saucers, (1) 18.25x12" primary meat platter, (1) 13.5x9.5" secondary meat platter, (1) 11.5x7.5" serving platter, (1) 9.5x7" serving bowl, (1) 10x7.25" serving bowl, (1) 6.75x4.5" gravy boat, (2) 7.75x8.5" covered dish and (1) 10x7.25 covered dish. Gravy boat has crack which was professionally repaired and a salad and a bread plate have a very small chip.
