Antique Limoges France Gold Detail Oyster Plate

  
Floral detail is of brown and pristine gold, while the 5 oyster shell shaped wells are edged with gold that is visibly faded, as is the one clam shaped lemon (or sauce) well at bottom. Because of the wearing of the gold at the edges of the oyster shell shaped wells and the one chip on the edge, visible in the photographs, this plate is available at a significantly lower cost than other examples.
