ANTIQUE LIMOGES ENAMEL PORTRAIT VASE WOMAN WITH WALKING STICK 100% HAND PAINTED. A charming and finely executed Limoges enamel vase. Limoges enamel is a bit of a generic term for pieces like this that were produced primarily in the southwestern region of France from the 12. This piece features a 100% hand-painted full-length portrait of a lovely woman in period dress gripping a walking stick in her left hand.

She is dressed in a very colorful outfit and there is red, blue and green "foil" coloring to her outfit and hat that are just strikingly beautiful. The portrait is painted against an enamel 100% hand painted background done in colors of brown, tan and green. This piece has been in my personal collection since the year 2014. The piece in my photos is the actual piece you will receive. Please be sure to read the "Age and Condition" and "Approximate Dimensions" paragraphs below. I find no artist signature on the vase. However, the portrait is well painted by a very skilled artist. I find no other markings on the vase.

Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs to the enamel and no dents, dings or breaks to the metal. The portrait area is unmarked. All I will mention is a bit of tarnish or discoloration to the metal and I made no attempt to do any cleaning or polishing to the metal. Anything else you may think you see is a reflection in the photos to the very shiny surface of the vase. Really in extremely fine condition for a 100+ year old piece of hand-painted enamel work.

Please keep in mind the photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times bigger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.

It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. The vase is about 1.75" (4.4 cm) in diameter at the widest point and sits about 4.25" (10.8 cm) off the table at the top rim. About 2 ounces (57 grams).
