This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges in the 1890s. The saucer is 4 3/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 7/8 inches high. The porcelain is quatrefoil shaped and the handle of the cup is shaped like a flower. The cup and saucer have reserves with hand painted scenes. The cup has a wooded scene with a couple dressed in 18.
The back panel has birds flying in a sunset. Similar scenes are on the saucer. Raised gilding frames the scenes and there are fancy raised gold ornaments on the sides.
