6 Butterfly Handle Haviland & Co Limoges Cups Saucers, Handpainted Birds/Flowers. Limoges porcelain cups and saucers, with butterfly handles and deep saucer wells.

Six handpainted cups and saucers with bird and flower decor. The butterfly handles are decorated with gold.

The saucers are 4 /34 " across; the cups are 2 5/8" high and 2 5/8 across the rims. Produced c 1870's-90's. Lots of photos, I have tried to show all sides of each set.

Issues - I found a little very slight chipping to the base rim on one cup, and a lot of wear to the gold trim on only one butterfly handle. Other flaws are manufacturing defects-there are a few dark specks in the glaze, especially noticable against plain white interiors. One cup has some raised, dark frit under the glaze.
