Rare Set of (6) Antique Limoges Aesthetic Movement 9 1/3 Plates with Beautiful Birds, Butterflies, and Flowering Branches Hand Painted Design. The plates are signed RB. This is the decorator's mark /initials of a decorating studio that worked on decorating blanks from Limoges, France between the years of 1890 to 1910. This is a'known unknown as in collectors have seen this mark on quality Limoges porcelain, but no one has ever figured out who exactly this studio or decorator was. Initials seen as RB and sometimes RBL (for RB Limoges).

5 plates are in great antique condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. One plate has chip so we priced our listing for 5 plates only will include plate #6 (photo 7) with no extra charge - please let us know if you'd like it to be included.
