What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful set of 3 antique fish serving plates by Haviland Limoges! This very early & rare set of fish serving plates by Haviland Limoges have unusual square shapes with rounded or angled corners.

Each plate has a different hand painted fish at its center surrounded in stunning detail seaweed and fauna in bright and vivid colors with shell motif gold corners and trim. The borders each have different hand painted coral groups in bright red with gold trim, black & grey for the background reefs. These are some of the earliest and they are definitely the most exceptional set of fish service plates we have had.

Each plate bears the early dark green double underlined "H & C" Haviland Limoges mark only in use from 1876 to 1886. Each plate measures 8-1/16 wide. DO NOT DUPLICATE OR COPY!
