14 Limoges Hand Painted Rose Charger, Artist Signed, Ester Miler
This Large Stunning Charger features large Peach/Pink and White Roses beautifully and skilfully painted on soft multi-shaded background of pink, blue peach, green and turquoise. Ester Miler was born Ester Buckingham Horlbeck on March 20, 1861 in Charleston, South Carolina. Around 1891, she moved to New York City with her husband and children and soon began a business decorating porcelain. Her talent gained her much attention and Miler was featured in the New York Times in 1896. She died in East Orange, NJ in 1931. Fabulous Charger measures a little over 14 across from handle to handle and 13 in diameter, about 2high. It is marked with the green T&V Limoges France mark and is artist signed E.
