Vintage Porcelain Jar With Finial Hand Painted Roses Artist Signed L Gould For Limoges Urn Vase Vanity Jar Canister with Lid Ginger Jar. Gorgeous hand painted French porcelain jar with encrusted 14 Kt gold finial lid. The lidded urn jar is masterfully hand painted with much detail, in shades of pink and maroon floral roses with green foliage and shaded glaze work.

This piece is hand signed and numbered on the bottom by artist L. The porcelain when held up to the light is transparent. It is unmarked as to make/origin, but is French porcelain (Limoges). The jar measures 9" to the top of the lid and 6" diameter.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks and no crazing. The hand painting is detailed and delicate with no wear; and the gold all intact.

What an amazing lidded jar to add to your collection of fine porcelain pieces. It would look so lovely on a dresser or vanity.
