Vintage Le Tallec Paris Handpainted Limoges Porcelain Ginger Jar

  

This ginger jar is a beautiful Le Tallec hand painted piece. The pattern is Nicoletta Pourpre. Looks like an M on the bottom between the L and T which indicates it was made in 1972.

Piece measures approximately 5-1/2"W x 6-1/4"H. It has no chips or cracks. The piece has two separate lids. One inner lid shown in picture 5 and the other is the cap that goes over the lid as seen in picture 4. When inner lid is on the jar, the outer cap does not completely sit on the jar - there is about a 1/8 gap.

Pictures may appear to have light spots or shadows. Hard to get good pictures of porcelain as it reflects everything in the room. Plus, if you like Le Tallec, I have other Le Tallec items that I have currently listed on 7-day auctions.
