Set of 7 Antique William Guerin Limoges FRANCE Hand Painted Fish Plates C. 1900

  

This is a beautiful collection of hand painted porcelain fish plates. The paintings are signed by the artist B. Each one depicts a different fish with dragonflies. The background represents delicate natural water plants in muted blues, greens, browns and reds. The porcelain plates are a pale blue, heavily embossed with a scalloped edge.

Considering their age they are in good shape. The colors are clean and bright.

Two appear to be in near perfect condition. The others have minor dings - a tiny chip on the scalloped rim.

One has a small crack near the rim. The flaws are minor and do not detract from the beauty of this collection. Please ask for more photos of the flaws or if you have any other questions.
