Pint A La Main Limoges Porcelain Hand Painted Serving Tray with Gold Handles

  
We are offering a fine porcelain serving tray with gold metal handles and trim. The china tray is artist signed and hand painted with a central bouquet of flowers with four gold medallions outlined in blue detail and alternating with small bouquets. The gold colored metal trim is figured and the handles are decorated with raised flowers.

The original gold foil lab el is still affixed to the upper surface and reads "E Pint A La Main Limoges". On the reverse, the tray is marked with an olive green medalion topped by a crown and E Porc. Limoges Pate" followed by "Limoges. There is an additional inscription in blue, under glaze and in French, referring to the style of Limoges followed by a signature.

The porcelain tray is 13 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches and 1 6 1/2 inches from handle to handle, 1 3/4 inches in height. Appears to have been rarely used, based on the pristine condition of the gold label, but there are some knife marks. Overall in excell e nt, gently used, vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
