Marvelous and stunning estate found, art nouveau, scalloped and double handled Limoges platter. Stamped Limoges France, likely from late 19th century early 20th century hand painted 12.25 long platter. Nicely painted and well detailed artist painting of mother, child on a walk near near pond/lake in spring/summer.

Features wonderful sky luminescence of vanilla sky likely in the early evening. Child and mother walk hand in hand on dirt road next to a pond near town. Wonderful details of trees, other houses in the distance, highlights and floral accents really make this a show stopping piece. Wonderfully decorated with scrolling, filigree gold accents on painting and then fabulously framed with scalloped sides, detailed pottery accents and very heavy gold paint. This is a show stopper for any collector.

Free of chips, cracks, crazing, glaze checking, discolorations. Does have some very minimal gold paint loss here or there, associated with being picked up and moved--as to be expected with an object of this age. Did not notice any pictorial paint loss. As this is an estate found item it will show signs of general wear and tear, display and storage.
