Limoges Style Victorian Hand Painted Glazed Table Lamp w/ Roses Porcelain 22. The surface of this lamp is a hand painted pond scene with Roses, Birds and Reeds and has an overglaze on the painted surface, and has a single 3 1/2 straight glaze crack on the reverse side (pond scene) in the upper middle portion of the body.. The lamp is 22 tall.

The cylindrical porcelain body measures 6" in diameter with an 7" diameter metal webbed and footed base (feet are between the metal portions). The felt on the bottom is loose. The top of the lamp is a copper flange with the upper portion painted in red. The socket rests on a brass fitting. The porcelain and painting has No chips or nicks, and no scratches were noted.

It is unsigned as far as we can see. The ornate gold and enamel design on the top of the body is in good condition with some wear to the gold on the very outer paint in spots. The lamp WORKS and the socket is single on or off.

There is s spot of corrosion on the metal base surface. Please see photos which describe the item. Vintage Item guaranteed old and authentic.
