T & V Limoges Hand Painted Plate. This beautiful hand painted plate features a scalloped edge with gold detail, dark forest green along the outer edge that fades to white in the middle and holly berries scattered.

The back is marked with a red bell that has "Limoges" on the top, "TV" in the body of the bell, and "Hand Painted" along a ribbon above the bell. Also there is a black star shaped emblem with "Limoges France". This plate measures 9-1/2 across the middle.

This plate is in nice condition - no cracks, chips, or crazing are present. There are a couple of dark spots that you can see in the white section of the plate that appear to be glazed in. There is a high point along the green edge that is white - the green color may be worn or it may have never been colored. There are also a couple of other small spots on the green section that are white - not sure if it is due to wear or if that is a feature of the plate being hand painted. The back is clean, with a little bit of darkening along the unglazed bottom edge. Ships from a smoke-free home.
