Limoges AK France Green Hand Painted Large Floral Serving Platter & 10 Plates
This lovely set is a platter and individual plates. My friend who is an international art collector has asked me to sell this.
This particular set belonged to his grandmother. His mother use to serve the family bread from this platter. It is a mint green with a raised design, gold trim and a lovely, delicate floral design.
It wis marked "AK DC LIMOGES FRANCE". The platter measures 16" x 9".The 10 plates have a 7 diameter. The condition is quite excellent, especially considering it is over 100 years old!
There is minor gold loss as expected, and last 2 photos show tiny chips on 2 of the plates. One plate has a couple chips on circular ring of base, can not be seen while serving.
