A rare and magnificent Le Tallec Limoges porcelain Apothecary jar. Hand painted with a landscape of flowers and birds. The rest of the jar has been grounded with a bright terra-cotta red with gold designs. The knob of the jar is matt brown arcanthus leaves over gold. It measures approx 12 x 4.50 inches.
It is signed and dated, as per photos. Marking reflects the year made as 1960.The jar is in good condition, minor scratches. Le Tallec studio in Paris is one of the last studios left in the world that still paints everything by hand.
