Large Porcelain Hand Painted Vase with Robin Birds & Flowers Signed Jorgensen

  
This stunning hand painted vase by renowned china painter, Thomas Peter Sophus Jorgensen. The vase features two birds (Robins) perched on a floral bouquet of "pussy-willow" flowers on the front, and an accent of cascading flowers on the back. This beautiful piece of art was expertly hand-painted on a moss green and yellow backdrop. The piece has dual gold handles, and a radiant gold rim. The piece is signed "Jorgensen".

The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes. There is slight wear on the top corner of one of the handles.

Please review the attached photos. For those of you not familiar with Jorgensen, here is some interesting information: He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on November 2, 1879. He moved to Oakland, California in 1906 where he established a china painting studio.
