Haviland Limoges Woman Portrait Plate Hand Painted Artist Signed EMH 1901

  

This is a haviland portrait plate of a woman holding a rose. The plate is quite dainty with a beautiful border of small flowers and gold. It is hand painted and artist signed and dated EMH 1901.

The back is stamped with Haviland & Co mark 11 indicating production of the porcelain between 1888 and 1896. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some wear to gilt. Due to item manufacturing date normal wear is to be assumed given the age.
