Please see all of the photos, and take note of how impressive their presence is in the china hutch in our shop. These plates are all marked on the backs, and signed by the artist, L. They have deep green rims with gilded trim and each piece has a different fish or grouping of fish and water foliage. Our appraisers estimate them to be late 19th Century. The serving tray measures 23.5" x 9".

The plates are 9 plates. Overall, we consider 10 (of the 13) pieces to be in "good antique condition" with the following issues: all of the pieces have some tiny to small paint rub spots where the green or gilt shows some of the white beneath it.

Two of these plates are a little more yellowish than the rest. There are 3 we are offering in "fair antique" condition, they each have a small chip in the rim. All have been photographed and we have labeled the plates with the condition issues. This set is previously owned, from an estate and may have evidence of age-appropriate use. To the best of our knowledge, there are no significant flaws (unless mentioned above), and we consider the pictures part of our description. Welcome - get to know us.
