French Porcelain Hand Gilded Unique Rare Mug 1899 by Jean Pouyat, Limoge+

  

Rare, very unique Jean Pouyat, Limoge, France in partnership w/Goldmount Gilt Works, Mug. Heavy and very detailed decorations of Leaves, Grapes Motif all done in Gold Gilding throughout entire. Has the J P L for Limoge, as well as the GOLDMOUNT Seal, with the year incised in bottom of. This Mug "99" for 1899, as J P only made these between 1888 & 1918 or so, not sure what happened.

Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs of any kind, just a few spots of light gold loss. From light use & old! Measures 5.5 inches tall, 3.25 inch mouth/opening, width at handle is 5, as well as 4.5 inches deep. With a base of 4.25 inches.

All correct marks, initials, year stamp, nice, rare, very unique & beautiful.
