An antique or early vintage, solid 18ct yellow gold, hand painted Limoges pendant. Signed to the back by artist. Measurements: 2.8cm (bail not included in measurement).

Hallmarks: Pendant has the French eagle mark, denoting 18ct gold, it also tests as 18ct gold. There is also a makers mark of'C', Wheat-sheaf,'Z'. Signed: The back of the pendant is signed'J. I've researched the name, and there have in the past been several other antique Limoges for sale with the same signature. I've also come across some paperwork for the company, the last photo shows a letter for the porcelain makers'J.

Batier', dated 1879, and located at Rue du Petit-Tour 5, Limoges, France. Condition: Very good antique condition.
