Another fantastic antique oyster plate manufactured by Martial Redon of.. Having five ribbed scalloped oyster wells & center sauce all.. Note the beautifully hand painted coastal scenes with sea gulls overhead. One well scene with a couple fishing from a work sail boat. One well showing a large white bird flying among gulls. Other wells showing sail boats in the distance.

Bright gilded highlights accent the lovely colors! Martial Redon produced some of my favorite antique oyster plates! Condition is Perfect Measures 8 diam. Thanks for visiting my shop!

Made in China, oyster plates.. The market is being flooded with NEW (made in CHINA) reproduction and fake oyster plates! As yet, I have NOT seen this particular plate being reproduced by the unscrupulous Chinese!
