Antique Limoges T&v. Hand Painted Punch Bowl With Base, Berries &gold, Large 15

  

This is an antique punch bowl bearing the mark of. TRESSEMAN & VOGT LIMOGES FRANCE ca. The bowl is completely hand painted inside and out and decorated. With berries, flowers and leaves. The colors are warm and rich.

The bowl is accompanied by a plinth or base bearing the same Limoges. The plinth is heavily gilded. The bowl is an impressive 15" in diameter and 7 1/2" high.

The plinth is 3 1/2" high with a circular base of 8 1/2" in. Diameter at the top, and almost 11 from one foot to the. The total high of this center piece is 11.

The condition of the bowl is. The gold has some wear, barely visible on the feet. And more marked, but hidden, on the top of the plinth. A great piece to display.
