This is a beautiful jardiniere marked J. This Victorian vase is completely hand painted on the outside.

And decorated with colorful geraniums, other flowers and foliage. The edge is decorated with heavy gold and gold scrolls. The signature of the artist is on the bottom of the piece. Together with the date 1901. The handles are in the shape of elephant's heads and heavily gilded. The vase is 12" by 10", 8 1/4 high and has an opening. No chips, cracks nor repairs. Some discoloration and wear on the. Gold of the edge and on the handles. A lovely piece for your collection, great as a center piece with a plant.
